Relax, enjoy, play, help out, pet animals … it's all possible during a vacation on our farm!
At Hoeve Megusta you will find yourself on a wonderful care farm, guaranteeing a carefree vacation. You stay in the courtyard of the farm. You will find two wheelchair accessible apartments here. You only have to cross the yard to see the rabbits. You can hardly get any closer to the animals.
On the farm itself you can go along to feed, cuddle and pet or brush the animals. EVEN IN A WHEELCHAIR! Looking for a little thrill? You'll find that too here, as some animals are taught all sorts of tricks! Entertainment guaranteed.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a darling dog or the curious sheep will come to see who is at the gate. There is a cozy courtyard where you can eat or drink something at a bench outside, or just read a book or play a game. The picnic table there is open on one side so that two wheelchairs can easily be placed there. To start your vacation relaxed, we have already made the beds.
Children can enjoy the adapted playground. There are two machines that you can use with a wheelchair. The equipment is great fun for all children. Whether you are in a wheelchair or not. Enjoy. Another highlight of the day is the feeding of the animals. The sweet sheep come to say hello while bleating, the horses come to give kisses and the chickens cluck merrily while scattering seeds. Our farm is located in the midst of nature right next to an extensive network of walking and cycling routes. With the nearest nodes you can make a nice walk of about 4.5 km and this through beautiful quiet nature. Admittedly, with the wheelchair it is best to provide a third wheel in front, otherwise some parts are too difficult to walk. But if you don't have that, we have an adapted baby carriage at the farm that you can borrow. That will certainly do the trick.
