You like undisturbed enjoyment in beautiful surroundings? Then Haus Turbes is the perfect place in a traffic-free, dead-end street, near the wooded valley of the Weberbach. (Protected nature reserve Natagora Nature Point)

The modern-functionally furnished historic farmhouse (1552) is surrounded by a large garden (3000 m²) with wooden garden furniture, sunny BBQ terrace, outdoor chess board, children's games and separate soccer field. Parking is available in the driveway. Haus Turbes is perhaps the oldest vacation home in Belgium (older than 1552) and due to its historic interior perhaps the smallest museum in the country.

Haus Turbes comprises two comfortable vacation homes: Beverburcht and the smaller Zwaluwnest

Vacation apartment BEVERBURCHT: (12-20 pers. 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (=bath and 4 showers), 3 toilets).

Spacious living room with soapstone stove, separate TV room (wifi), fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, 2 refrigerators, 2 freezers, oven, blender, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher … Ecological dishwashing and dishwashing products, garbage bags, coffee filters … you do not need to bring. Bottled water is also not required. The municipality of Amel provides spring water on the water supply network.

6 bedrooms: Beds with quality slatted bases, mattresses and anti-allergic comforters guarantee a blissful night's sleep. Melancholy by starry skies, or as a couple in the moonlight … the street lights go out at midnight.

Along the house runs the red and white marked Great Route path GR 56, the MTB route and the go.eastbelgium-app hiking route network (route node 51 – 59). Commented maps with looped tours starting at the front door are at hand. For those who like (flat) cycling: on the old railroad bed of the Vennbahn, you can go in all directions. (Aachen, Stavelot, Lake Bütgenbach, Monschau, Prüm, Troisvierges …)

The house is smoke-free, also pets keep watch at home in the absence of their owner. Youth, student and bachelor weekends are sure to find other suitable locations.
