There are 4 bedrooms, 1 on the ground floor and 3 on the first floor. We provide comfortable beds: 1 x king size (180x210), 2 x queen size box springs (160 x 200), 1 x French bed (140 x 200).
There is a bathroom with sink, toilet, bath and recently renovated walk-in shower with rain head and normal head. Downstairs there is a separate toilet and sink.
The large tree trunk table in the living room (with seating for 9 people) is the 'eye-catcher' of the house. The living room is also equipped with a vintage wood stove. A separate sitting area by the fireplace offers extra cosiness in the evenings.
The kitchen has everything needed to enjoy a comfortable stay: an oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric hob, large fridge and freezer, mixer, kettle, coffee maker and Nespresso machine, milk frother, toaster and all cooking utensils.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the hallway.
Outside we find a lounge seating area with an outdoor fireplace and a spacious picnic table. The garden partly runs on a mountain, which makes the location ideal for children who want to build camps. We only ask that you show the necessary respect for the plants and trees. Attention, the garden is not completely fenced.
Two-wheelers can be parked in the garage. There is sufficient parking space in front of the house for cars.
For our family, this place is really a place to relax and enjoy nature and each other's company. We greatly appreciate that tenants show the necessary respect for the home and the furniture. The house radiates it self 'un Havre de Paix et d'Amour'.

"Fantastisch Familiehuis van alles voorzien"

We hebben enorm genoten van jullie huis samen met de kinderen. We waren met 6 volwassenen en er was ruimte genoeg. Vanwege het slechte weer hebben we veel binnen genoten met spelletjes en lekker eten uit de streek. De kamers waren goed, de bedden lagen heerlijk. In de keuken konden we alles vinden wat we nodig hadden, aan niets ontbrak het. De houtkachels hebben goed gebrand. Er was voldoende hout aanwezig. De omgeving was prachtig en we hebben een erg mooie wandeling gemaakt vanuit het huis toen het een ochtend droog was. Het werden heerlijke dagen in een fantastisch familiehuis! Hans, Ellen en kids

"Gezelligheid"

Geweldig verblijf gehad in deze woning met 6 vrienden. Vier personen konden in de twee grootste bedden. Twee personen konden in de overige bedden.Heerlijke wandelingen gedaan bij de Ourthe en in de directe omgeving van het huisje. Verder heeft het huisje alle gemakken om een paar gezellige avonden in het huisje zelf te kunnen hebben. De kachels zijn erg fijn.

Isabelle's house is located in a quiet neighborhood in beautiful countryside. The house is pleasantly furnished with everything you need for a stay. The outdoor spaces are cozy and you have sun all day. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the outdoor stove as we considered it unsafe to fire it up due to the drought and high risk of forest fires. Isabelle responds quickly to messages. Strongly recommended.

The house was as described. The rooms were big and the house was very clean. We loved the view of the fields with cows and horses. The garden was fine and our kids liked to play in it. There was a box of outdoor games and a cupboard of games, puzzles and toys in the living room, which our kids enjoyed. The downstairs toilet is in a room with a folding door. It was ok for us as a family, but I imagine that if you travel several families together that this could be a problem. There was a heatwave when we were there, but the house stayed chilled and comfortable due to the tiled floor and stone walls. The road outside the house is a small road, but we were surprised by how many cars drove by and horrified by the speed of a lot of them. We liked to walk around the neighborhood, especially on the old railway track and small roads passing small cattle farms. We missed some better furniture in the garden. In the upper garden there was some lounge furniture made of pallets and cable drums. Near the house it would be nice with a proper dining table and chairs for eating dinner outside, in stead there were three cable drums. In the kitchen there was all we needed except a grater. The refrigerator was too noisy. There was two living rooms, but we only used one. We missed some better and bigger couches where we could lay down and relax. The communication with Isabelle went fine. She answered every time within a short time. We experienced a smell from the bathroom and she got someone to try to fix it right away. Isabelle made us feel welcome and gave us good advise on what to see in the area.

Really enjoyed the stay! Good and pleasant communication, nice house, nice neighbourhood, lots of good walks in the area.
