This nature cottage in Piedmont (northern Italy) is a former hay barn and stable for cattle. The basement was the place for the cattle and has now been converted into a bedroom for 4 people, ideal for a couple or a small family. Through a small vaulted corridor you reach the bathroom. Upstairs there is the living room and kitchen connected to a covered outdoor terrace. The mezzanine has a bath and a sofa overlooking the valley. On the 4 hectares of land surrounding the cottage you will find a water spring, a tree house, an open shed where you can take wood for the stove, a pizza oven yet to be restored, an outdoor barbecue and a pergola covered with fig trees and wisteria (i.e. the glicine after which our house is named).
