*Front of our recently renovated farmhouse from 1872 and generations in the family.
To give you an impression, you can sleep in the box bed, cook in the new country kitchen, play a game at the round table, or relax in the sitting area with comfortable sofa and chairs.
Our guests love the garden, seating in the sun and shade, playing field, jeudeboules court, vegetable and herb garden, in the corner of the garden is a canopy with wood stove.

*Ommen is an old Hanseatic city on the river Vecht, the center is 2 km from the Ommetje, you can eat at a restaurant or you grab a terrace on the water, summer is bustling with activities, there are the Bissinghdagen and Festivals.

*Hikers and cyclists can indulge themselves on the many trails in the nature reserves, you come to the most beautiful places.

Nature garden 900m² with playground, jeudeboules court, covered terrace.
*You arrive on your own driveway, the garden is yours during the stay, it has several terraces, many shaded areas, and is fully fenced. The large beech, beech hedges, fruit trees, flowering borders make it a green oasis, and give you lots of privacy.
*Covered terrace, we call it the Imm'nstal is built in the form of a apiary, here is a wood stove on the griddle or wok pan you can barbecue / bake, and it gives nice heat.
*For the bakery is a terrace in the sun, on hot summer days it is cool under the big beech on the deck chairs, you can hear the whistling of birds and the buzzing of the bees, the chickens scurry in the run they provide tasty eggs.
*In the vegetable and herb garden you are free to pick strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, but also mint for a tasty mint tea, or maggi for soup. In the bakery you can park your bikes and recharge them, there is a freezer, garden chair cushions and outdoor toys.
*On the jeu de boules court you can throw a ball during the day but also in the evening, the garden is lit at several points.

The new kitchen (2022) is fully equipped, separate gas stove with electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, the beds are made. On the landing a single bed. The bedrooms have mosquito nets on the windows and ample closet space.

Walking, cycling, boating, swimming
From Het Ommetje you can make beautiful walking and cycling trips on paved and unpaved paths. Vechtdalpad, Reggepad, Pieterpad, Pieterpad for cyclists, castles route.
Nature is very different, so you will find sand drifts(Sahara).
Archemer-Lemeler and Besthmenerberg with its heather and forests.
Steep bank, Reestdal, Sallandse heuvelrug.
Castles and estates, castle het Laer, castle Eerde, castle Rechteren.
Neighborhoods Vilsteren, Beerze, Junne, Archem, Arrien, Varsen are beautiful in the landscape.
Or you can go boating/canoeing on the Vecht or Regge.
For a refreshing dip, beach at the Vecht, outdoor pools and recreational lakes nearby.
